Working With Us

Before you choose an estate planner to work with, you should understand the difference between us and everyone else.

First, this is all we do. We are not Jacks-of-all-trades. Everything we do is related to the process of protecting your assets, and creating and administering the very best estate plan to meet the needs of you and your loved ones.

Many people think that all attorneys are the same, but just like your doctor, you should choose the practice that best fits your needs. If you had a terrible headache, you probably wouldn’t choose to go to a foot specialist. The same goes for attorneys. If you have a specific need. You want to work with a lawyer who can create the best fit.

Second, we want to work with you for the long term. Our goal is not simply writing a will and booting you out the door. We are looking to build a personal advisor relationship with you and your family that will last for years and years to come. As your life changes, your estate plan should change with it. We offer our clients a no charge review every three years to help ensure that they never outgrow the plan that they have. And because our estate planning services are done on a flat fee basis, you never have to worry about calling or e-mailing us to ask a question or tell us about a change in your circumstances. We will let you know if it means it’s time to come in for a quick meeting, a full review of your estate plan, or if it’s something that we can simply address over the phone.

Third, we help you pass along more than just your money. Your legacy – your love, your values, your history, and your story can be preserved and passed in a caring and purposeful way. We can make it easier for you.

Finally, we are able to ensure that your family is taken care of by the people you choose, that their assets are there for their use when they need them and stay protected from divorce, creditors, and even bankruptcy.
